Good Neighbor Tour

Free. A half day introduction to the local Korean culture, and orientation to the city of Gunsan. Learn how to take local transportation, local community activities and cultural awareness. Mt. Naejang & Geumsan-sa Temple

Everland

Pyonsan Beach, Chikso Waterfall & Neso-sa Temple

Pyonsan Beach is known for its 2km long white sand beach and fir trees. During the winter the fir trees block the cold winds. The breathtaking Chikso Waterfall flows from a 22.5 meter high cliff of eroded the rock. At Neso-sa Temple, see a 1000-year old Dangsan tree and Buddist bronze bell completely engraved with three images of Buddha.

DMZ Tour

Sign up early as this tour fills up fast! Korea is the only divided country in the world. One of the last relics of the Cold War, Korea DMZ tourist sites were created to quench peoples’ curiosity on this unique area where tension and peace coincide. Bring snacks for the long bus ride. Yellow Sea Cruise
27 February • Saturday, CAC Tours (30 Min. Dr. & 4 Hr. Boat Ride)
Take harbor cruise that goes out to sea and passes by the Gunsan islands. The boat drops you off at Sonyu-do island for about 1 hour and then starts its return trip. There are no restaurants on board, so bring a picnic lunch with you. $20 plus W20,000 Boat Fare. Sign-up by 25 February, 1700 .
