Cherry Blossom Festival in Jinhae & Busan

Have you ever dreamed of walking on a flower carpet under a shower of blossoms? Then, we invite you to the April festivities in Korea. This is the month when the country is covered in white cherry blossom petals, its mountains are ablaze with yellow forsythias, and villages are blooming with sansuyu flowers.

When its 220,000 cherry trees bloom, the whole city of Jinhae is covered in white. The city is very modern, clean, and is the home to the South Korean Navy and a US Navy base.
The festival has a parade, traditional Korean folk dance performances, fireworks, cultural and athletic events, along with native products and exhibits attracting more than a million sightseers each year. $180 plus W20,000 and includes one night at a first class western style hotel in Busan City. Pyonsan Beach, Chikso Waterfall
& Neso-sa Temple

Pyonsan Beach is known for its 2km long white sand beach and fir trees which block the cold winds during the winter. You’ll also see the breathtaking Chikso Waterfall flowing from a 22.5 meter high cliff of eroded rock. Then at Neso-sa Temple see a 1000-year old Dangsan tree and a bronze bell used Buddhist temples. This particular bell is completely engraved with tree images of the Buddha. $25 plus W2,500 Admission Fee. Sign-up by 11 March at 1700.

Bamboo Market & Paegyang-sa Temple

Shop this little village of handmade bamboo products including fans, fine-toothed grooming combs, bamboo blinds, and more at Korea’s only marketplace dealing exclusively with bamboo products.
Paegyang-Sa Temple is one of the most famous temples in Korea. It was originally built by Buddhist priest Yohan in 632, during the reign of King Mu of the Paekjae Kingdon. The eight-story stone pagoda is in the backyard of the main hall and is said to contain the Sarira of the historical Buddha “Sockyamoni.”
